Welcome to our Maree Street hostel, situated in the charming suburb of Kempenville, Bellville, within the beautiful city of Cape Town. Our hostel offers an inviting accommodation experience for 53 students across four distinctive houses named &Joy, &Love, &Fun and &Dreams. Our well-designed rooms cater to both individual and shared living preferences, with separate accommodation provided for men and women.
Ensuring a safe and secure environment is our top priority. Our dedicated hostel manager Lidia Botha oversees the hostel round-the-clock, supported by a diligent team of cleaners and a vigilant night guard. To enhance your peace of mind, we have implemented advanced security measures, including a state-of-the-art security system, electric fencing, and a comprehensive fire detection system.
We take pride in providing all the essential furniture to guarantee a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Additionally, we offer convenient amenities such as a bus shuttle service for hassle-free transportation to the Eduvos and Stadio campuses and a laundry facility to take care of your laundry needs. Our battery backup system will also keep the lights on during load shedding and our fast fibre internet will keep you connected. Welcome to Kempenville, a charming suburb nestled within the bustling city of Bellville. Located in close proximity to both the Eduvos and Stadio campuses, Kempenville offers an ideal location for students seeking convenience and easy access to their educational pursuits.
With just a six minute shuttle drive separating Kempenville from both Eduvos and Stadio, students can enjoy a seamless commute and maximise their time on campus. Kempenville boasts a vibrant community, with a range of amenities including shopping centers and dining options, all within reach.

At these hostels, we offer a variety of room options to suit every student’s needs and budget. For those who value extra privacy, our 4 spacious suites each feature their own private bathroom. We also have 13 comfortable single rooms for students who prefer their own space, as well as 13 double rooms ideal for sharing with a friend or fellow student. For the most affordable option, we offer 3 triple rooms, a great choice for budget-conscious students who enjoy a more social living environment. All single, double, and triple rooms share clean, well-maintained communal bathrooms, and every resident has full access to our shared kitchens, lounges, laundry facilities, and high-speed Wi-Fi.
Our well-equipped kitchens are shared spaces where you can unleash your culinary creativity and bond with fellow residents over delicious meals. In addition, our shared bathrooms are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, ensuring a refreshing and hygienic experience.
